Dis Life -104 Films
104 films facilitate the production of films based around the children's own ideas. The children play key roles in the production, acting in the film, but also taking part in the scripting, directorial decisions and editing. The children themselves decided what the subject matter of the film would be. The ideas were then developed in the work-shop sessions leading up to production.

The children learnt new film production and acting skills. The project also helped them to articulate their own unique stories and learn skills which enabled them to relate these stories.
The finished comments from the children will be compiled into a documentry which will serve as a special feature on the DVD of the final five Dis Live films. The children were encourged to give feedback as an on-going process of the evaluation through interviews on camera during the course of the project. We were able to respond to this feedback as the project progressed.

Children's Comments
Jamie: "I really enjoyed the last one (film with 104 films) that I did, so I thought I'd go for it and I'd do it again. We've been filming in the Malverns on a film within a film about being disabled"
Annie: "I wanted a chance to act because I love acting"
Dan: "I've been filming a film about people going up a hill. I've enjoyed it because I got out of school and learnt different stuff. I've never done this before and I like it very much"
Alex: "Very cold, very nerve-wracking and Annie keeps getting on my nerves! And everybody can't stop laughing. But I suppose it's all part of making a film"
Annie: "The film is about disabled people and what we have to go through everyday in life. It's been symbolised by us trying our hardest to get up a hill. It's been a new experience for me and if I was asked to do it again I would."
Jamie: "It was quite hard on the first day, but we managed to overcome it. I really enjoy acting because I'm good at it!"
Annie: "Dont blow your own trumpet!"
