Dis Life -104 Films
‘Special People’ was the debut feature film from award-winning production company 104 films and director Justin Edgar.
‘Special People’, was initially funded as a short, part of a series called Dis Life. Due to its success and impact the Ragdoll Foundation co funded its development to a feature. Specifically funding the Special People Training Programme for young disabled people, running alongside the actual feature film production.
Special People (the movie) premiered at the 2007 Edinburgh International Film Festival where it charmed both audiences and critics.
