Participants, supported by a youth worker, accessed drop in taster sessions, weekly artistic development workshops, and 1:1 support with a qualified musician. Read more
Who, what, where
How this project supported Ragdoll Foundation aims
Bolton Lads and Girls Club’s is a well-established, well-networked organisation, which was proposing adding music-making to its current programme of support for young refugees. The project was well-conceived, with young people having ample opportunity for active participation. The currency of popular music to create a common language, and development of transferrable skills in the process, were also strengths.
