A five-year award to support development of the Federation’s website and Children’s Book Award Ceremony, raise awareness of the work of the Federation, and increase the number of active book groups.

This grant was awarded through the Jean Russell Gift. Since 2016 the Gift has supported the Federation of Children’s Book Groups, first through the Jean Russell Storytelling project and now through a series of organisational development initiatives. The Jean Russell Gift honours the memory of a dear friend of Anne Wood and is not open to application.
