A day of workshops and exhibitions by members of the Preston Caribbean Carnival at a local school, followed by a group visit to the 2022 Carnival.

How this project supported Ragdoll Foundation aims
The trustees were delighted to be supporting a carnival application and felt that this first contact between the school and long-established Preston Caribbean Carnival could lead to greater arts engagement for the school in the future. As the applicant mentioned, “Lancashire has a particularly low take up of the arts and the annual carnival may be the only art form that some people have experienced.”
