How this project supported Ragdoll Foundation aims

Projects funded through Investing in Young Women explored how arts and cultural organisations could support gifted young women from disadvantaged backgrounds to develop their talents and skills with a view to embarking on careers in the arts and creative media.

The trustees were pleased to support this well-developed proposal which they described as “exciting, innovative, in-depth, and targeted.”  Sector needs were clearly identified and well-described, and the pilot had potential to address inequality within the dance sector.
