How this project supported Ragdoll Foundation aims

Projects funded through Investing in Young Women explored how arts and cultural organisations could support gifted young women from disadvantaged backgrounds to develop their talents and skills with a view to embarking on careers in the arts and creative media.

The trustees unanimously identified this project as exciting, different, unusual, and well-targeted. It directly focused on skills development with the aim of widening participants’ horizons and encouraging them to consider careers in the built environment. Running the project over two years allowed time for organisational learning.
